Sustaining our Planet

September is designated as National Clean Up Month, serves as a powerful reminder of our responsibility to care for the environment. It's a time to reflect on how our daily habits impact the planet and to take meaningful action to reduce pollution, conserve resources, and restore natural spaces.

Participating in clean-up activities not only improves the cleanliness of our communities but also fosters a deeper connection to nature, reminding us of the fragility of the ecosystems we depend on.

1. Waste segregation: Waste segregation is a crucial component of effective waste management, contributing to environmental sustainability and the promotion of a cleaner, healthier planet.

2. Planting - Trees and plants protect us from heavy rains and floods as well as provide the air we breathe, fighting climate change.

3. Coastal Clean Up - Whenever at a beach, try to be mindful on where to put your waste and observe cleanliness.

4. Educate and Advocate - Recognise the value of the environment and encourage others in the neighbourhood to do the same.
