the Philippine faces frequent natural disaster like earthquake, typhoon, landslide, and flood due to its location and climate. Additionally climate change worsens all of this events. this are the examples of how climate change worsens the natural disaster. hurricanes and typhoons, intense rainfall, rising sea levels, and increased frequency of heatwaves.
In response of these challenges, the Philippine had already developed NDRRMC or NATIONAL DISASTER RIST REDUCTION AND MANEGEMENT COUNCIL. this will help us get ready as soon as possible to not be affected by the upcoming typhoons. Additionally, the government community and police will be also involves or they are also involved of all this challenges. since they are also involve of this challenges, they will teach us the drills just incase there is a strong flood, and help us to prepare kits. lastly, improvements in early warnings such as forecasting and more.
Natural disaster pose numerous challenges, impacting individuals, communities, governments, and the environment. Natural disaster often result in loss of life, injuries, and long term health issues. they can overwhelm health care systems, leading to inadequate medical care during emergencies. Disaster can force people to live their homes, leading to large-scale displacement and migration. Displaced populations face challenges such as lack of shelter, food, clean water, and basic service.
